Who am I

I am David Berga, an international touring and booking agent based in Catalonia, with over two decades of international experience.

I work in the circulation of performances and artistic projects across festivals, fairs, showcases and programming platforms worldwide, with a particular focus on non-text-based creations: physical theatre, visual comedy, installations, site-specific work, circus, street arts, object manipulation and hybrid formats.

My work focuses on connecting artists and programmers, accompanying projects through different stages of their trajectory: from defining their artistic positioning to their presentation in international contexts, negotiation, and beyond. Over the years, I have collaborated with presenting contexts in more than thirty-five countries across Europe, Asia, Oceania and the Americas.

I combine my experience in distribution with an artistic perspective (I am also an actor and producer) and an anthropological background (MA in Urban Anthropology), which allows me to read projects beyond market logic and position them in relation to the cultural, social and territorial contexts where they resonate most strongly.

I work with an open and constantly evolving catalogue, prioritising singular, rigorous projects with a strong identity, and fostering professional relationships based on trust, proximity and a deep understanding of the sector.
